Author Agreement

By submitting a manuscript to the Malaysian Online Journal of Educational Technology (MOJET), authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to the journal's publication policies, ethical standards, and licensing terms.

Submission of a manuscript indicates that all authors certify the following:

  • The submitted work is original and has not been published previously.
  • The manuscript is not under consideration by another journal or publication venue.
  • All listed authors have made substantial contributions to the work and have approved the final submitted version.
  • The manuscript does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights, copyrights, or other legal rights of any third party.
  • Any copyrighted material used in the manuscript has been appropriately acknowledged and permission has been obtained when necessary.
  • All authors accept responsibility for the content and accuracy of the submitted work.

Copyright

Authors retain full copyright of their published articles.

Upon acceptance for publication, authors grant MOJET a non exclusive license to publish, distribute, archive, and identify itself as the original publisher of the work.

Authors remain free to:

  • Share their published articles through personal websites, institutional repositories, and academic networks.
  • Use their articles for educational and research purposes.
  • Include their articles in theses, dissertations, books, and future scholarly works, provided proper citation to the original publication is maintained.

Licensing

All articles published in MOJET are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution NonCommercial NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY NC ND 4.0).

Under this license, users may:

  • Read, download, copy, and share published articles.
  • Distribute the published version of the work for non commercial purposes.
  • Cite and link to the published material without restriction.

Users may not:

  • Modify, adapt, remix, transform, or create derivative works based on the published material without prior permission from the copyright holder.
  • Use the material for commercial purposes without authorization from the copyright holder.

Publisher Rights

MOJET is granted the right to:

  • Publish and disseminate accepted manuscripts.
  • Archive and preserve published content through indexing, archiving, and preservation services.
  • Identify itself as the original publisher of the work.
  • Include published articles in databases, repositories, and scholarly indexing services.

Author Rights

Nothing in this agreement restricts the authors' ownership of their intellectual property.

Authors retain the right to preserve the integrity of their work and maintain ownership of all copyright associated with the published article.
